Snowplowed by Email?

Interesting article touching on the topic of effective email usage. It talks about the software engineering side of work. Interestingly enough, I found I am already doing a few thing recommended in the article. I really find myself only check email when "I have time too". I often hear, "Did you get my email". In total embarrassment, I usually admit "No". I guess I feel a little better about only checking my email in the morning, before/after lunch and then when I am nearing the end of my work day. I do get frustrated when wrapping up my day only to check my inbox and see 10+ unread message waiting for me. GRRR! Certainly *one* of the reasons when I tell Teri I am leaving at 4:30 but end up leaving around 5 something!
